Read the operating sequence before any restart

If the valve moves but no product reaches the feeder, material may still be held in the cone. Keep the outlet exclusion in place while the operating sequence is reviewed.

Blocked silo outlets need a clear operating sequence, not repeated tests. The last normal discharge and what happened when the valve or feeder operated help place the restriction while people remain outside the release path.

Once flow returns, the site controls the restart and watches the discharge under its own procedure. The contractor records the route that opened and any retained material still visible above it. This keeps a successful outlet clearance separate from claims about the rest of the silo or connected machinery.

Start with the last normal discharge. If the valve then opens but no material reaches the feeder, the restriction may sit higher in the cone; if the level falls while the feeder stays empty, connected equipment also needs checking. Keep those observations in time order with any alarm. The outlet remains excluded while the site and proposed provider review that single record, so nobody needs to create a release path from below simply to learn where the blockage sits.
