Product and Contamination Information

Keep verified grades, dates and moisture events in sequence. If part of the product history is missing, leave that gap visible for the product owner to resolve.

Guide notes

Include uncertainty instead of guessing

An uncertain material layer stays uncertain until a responsible product contact resolves it. The cleaning contractor should not infer identity from colour or memory.

Infused Media receives the enquiry. The response identifies the independent cleaning contractor that will quote for and carry out any work you appoint.

Product and contamination information should show verified grades, loading dates, moisture events and the next intended use in sequence. Corrections retain their source and date so the cleaning decision can be reconstructed later.

The documents must match the product and grade actually stored. Superseded or unrelated information can lead the review in the wrong direction.

Current, previous and next materials

Put the verified product sequence on one record before the physical cleaning areas are discussed.

Keep gaps visible in the product history

Keep dates, grade changes and moisture events in order against the same vessel. If an entry cannot be verified, mark the gap and its source rather than filling it from memory. The uncertainty can then be resolved before a method or recovered-material route is chosen.

The stored material information sheet provides a working format. Use it when discussing powder silo cleaning or a cross-contamination risk.

Mark missing product information as unknown

Do not fill the gap with an assumption. Provide the records available and let the uncertainty form part of the job details review.

Next step

Review the product history before cleaning is priced

Send the silo reference, stored material, access details and the work that needs pricing. Add safe photographs or drawings if they show the affected area clearly.
